Dear Family & Friends,
We are pleased to report the improvements to our Tapestry Homes have been completed! Our construction team of William, Salo and Hein (with the support of our social worker, Margaret, and Home From Home’s leadership team) did a terrific job of managing the improvements, and they exceeded everyone’s expectations.
Improvements included: new and improved security fencing and lighting; exterior and interior painting; new flooring and granite counter tops; new walkways and upgraded play equipment; plumbing, electrical and cabinetry repairs and upgrades; new rain water retention and pumping system; and new appliances. New furniture and furnishings will soon be arriving. Check-out some of the completed improvements below.
CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION
To mark the completion of improvements, William, Salo and Hein surprised the kids and housemothers with a traditional South African braai (BBQ), music and Christmas gifts. Check-out the smiles below.
