About Us

Tapestry Homes and its Tapestry Orphan Homes Initiative are ministries of HopeBuilders Global, a Christ-centered non-profit organization founded in June 2005. Our main objective is to improve the living conditions of those in need in third-world urban slums.

HopeBuilders Global was founded as an extension of HopeBuilders, a local sector outreach ministry based in Southern California. With the assistance of numerous volunteers and charitable resources, local underprivileged families living in deteriorated housing conditions receive a complete housing renovation. Their homes and lives are transformed in one spiritually-charged week. Similar to the popular TV show, "Extreme Makeover, Home Edition", HopeBuilders extends the gift of hope to these families in need by dramatically improving their living conditions in the name of Christ.
