Tapestry Homes was founded in 2005 as a Christ-centered, non-profit organization focused on helping to solve the global housing crisis by improving the living conditions of those in need living in third-world urban slums.
Its Tapestry Orphan Homes provide durable, fireproof, weatherproof and aesthetically-pleasing homes to the forgotten children in Africa—teenage girls that have lost their parents to the ravages of AIDS and are in need of a safe and loving place to call home.
Tapestry Homes partners with World Help, an international, non-profit Christian organization, to provide private sponsorships 
for each girl living in a Tapestry Orphan Home.
Along with food, clothing, educational opportunities, and medical attention comes the message that God loves them and a special friend loves them too.
